The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it really is alarmed regarding the high quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The service level made for intervention experiences a large inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to help the servicing of all clients and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
